XRP ETFs buck Bitcoin and Ethereum outflows – Can price follow?

US spot Ripple [XRP] ETFs showed signs of renewed investor interest last week. For 13 weeks, the flows were positive until a week ago when investors withdrew $1.84 million. However, for the first time since then, they added $4.25 million last week.

The fact that there was money flowing back into the funds. This is despite Bitcoin [BTC], Ethereum [ETH], and Solana [SOL] ETFs recorded net outflows. This is interesting because it seems to indicate that some investors were willing to buy again after their brief pause.

The XRP ETF net asset value currently stands at nearly $1.5 billion, indicating a strong foundation of investors who invest in XRP. However, the most recent additions remain modest relative to that total.

All together, continued weekly inflows would strengthen evidence of renewed institutional demand.

XRP faces $1.40 resistance

XRP still finds itself in a long-term downward trending channel and is continuing to build upon those prior down trends by creating lower highs. Although buyers rallied a relief rally off the low at $1.2532 towards $1.40, where descending trendline resistance triggered another rejection.

A second attempt at $1.40 resulted in failure once again at the same downtrending resistance line. That failure sent prices plummeting back down through $1.35 and $1.32 toward $1.3141. Currently, buyers have been unable to take control.

The MACD histogram has produced slight positives recently. These positives represent potential short-term momentum improvements. Both lines continue to trade below zero. Any selling activity near support may be mitigated somewhat by recent inflows into ETFs.

In order for XRP to begin challenging its bearish nature, XRP needs to demonstrate greater amounts of inflow into the ETFs and successfully break through resistance at $1.40.

XRP Liquidation Levels to Watch

XRP’s recovery toward $1.4 has brought nearby liquidation clusters into focus, potentially shaping its next move. After dipping toward $1.253, the token rebounded, suggesting buyers absorbed selling pressure around lower levels.

However, the heatmap shows concentrated liquidity between $1.32 and $1.34. These clusters could be wiped out if the altcoin pushes its advance towards $1.40.

At the same time, below the current price, there is another cluster near the $1.29–$1.30 zone that could attract price during a pullback.

Nonetheless, breaking through the uppermost liquidity cluster near $1.32 could significantly increase upside volatility toward $1.40. Conversely, a resumption of selling activity could cause prices to fall toward lower liquidity zones and amplify selling pressure.

Final Summary

  • Ripple ETFs attracted $4.25 million in weekly inflows, signaling renewed demand after a $1.84 million outflow.

  • XRP faces $1.40 resistance, with liquidation clusters at $1.32–$1.34 and $1.25–$1.30 shaping near-term volatility.
