Cancore, a trading platform built on Canton, announced a $7.2 million seed round on October 28. Paper Ventures, dao5, ArkStream Capital, X Ventures, MH Ventures, and Proof of Talk backed the financing.
The company plans to connect assets on Canton with more buyers, sellers, and funds on other blockchains. Its expansion wants to make assets easier to trade across separate networks, which is a practical challenge for tokenized finance.

Connecting Canton with other markets
Cancore has operated on Canton’s main network since April, according to its announcement. Its platform allows users to exchange Canton-based assets for assets on supported public blockchains.
The company says users retain control of their wallet keys. Its trading process is designed so both sides of an exchange complete, or the funds are refunded.
Cancore plans to use the funding to add blockchain connections and trading liquidity, while developing its security systems and automated trading tools. It also wants users to create AI agents that can carry out strategies and manage positions on their behalf.
What the platform has reported so far
Cancore said it had processed more than $53.2 million in cumulative trading volume across 84,000 trades as of October 1. It said it had made more than $538,000 in protocol revenue in that same period.
CC’s bounce comes with busier trading
CC was near $0.1007 at the time of this writing, which is a 2.4% increase from yesterday, with the increase coinciding with the latest development.
Trading volume had reached roughly 180,020 CC, which was more than what it saw in the past four days. The volume bar turned green as the price recovered, following three red bars, which means that it was seeing more buyers than sellers at the time of this writing.

CC had dropped from an intraday high it reached near the $0.1043 price level, and it remained below its recent price averages. The positive trend offered some relief within October’s decline but did not guarantee a lasting turnaround or a response to Cancore’s funding.
Final Summary
- Cancore announced $7.2 million in seed funding to expand trading connections and automation.
- CC recovered toward the $0.10 as its volume increased, but its broader decline still remained.
