Natixis Investment Managers has appointed Léa Dunand-Chatellet as the new CEO of its affiliate Mirova, a global asset manager.
She is due to take up the post on 1 July, replacing Philippe Zaouati.
Dunand-Chatellet has spent more than two decades in sustainable investment and has held roles at several asset managers.
Her time within Natixis IM has included positions at Mirova and later at DNCA Finance.
She has also taken part in sector working groups linked to sustainable finance, including those involving the AMF, the AFG, and the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty.
At Mirova, she will oversee the firm’s next stage of development, with attention on its international activities in sustainable investment and on combining its expertise across listed and private assets.
She currently serves as head of responsible investment and ESG portfolio manager at DNCA Finance.
Her career began in 2005 at Oddo Securities in extra-financial analysis. She later moved to Sycomore Asset Management, where she led ESG management and worked on a sustainable development integration framework.
In 2015, she joined Mirova as head of equity management.
Three years later, she moved to DNCA Finance, where she set up and ran the responsible investment division and introduced the firm’s first sustainable fund range.
Natixis Investment Managers CEO Philippe Setbon said: “We are delighted to promote a talented internal executive to lead Mirova. Her career path perfectly demonstrates the strength of our multi-affiliate model, which offers our professionals an ideal environment in which to grow by combining the rich diversity of our leading asset management firms with the support and stability of an international group.”
