Strive adds 3311 Bitcoin – Can its Saylor backed 15% dividend offering fund more?

Strive, the 5th largest Bitcoin [BTC] digital asset treasury (DAT), is making headlines as it added 3,311 BTC in the past week. This has pushed its total BTC holding to 32,773 BTC, worth approximately $2.697 billion. Given its large Bitcoin stack, the purchase happened at the reported price of $82,300 per Bitcoin.

At the same time, the firm also has $208 million in exercised warrants, which provides Strive with additional capital to support its Bitcoin strategy.

Strive offered $SATS via IPO

Besides all this, Strive has introduced SATS, a new perpetual preferred stock offering a fixed 15% annual dividend, paid every business day, to attract investors seeking predictable income.

Unlike SATA, which offers a variable 13% dividend and has a $100 minimum issuance price, SATS provides a fixed return but ranks lower in Strive’s capital structure. In simple terms, SATA holders have priority if the company faces financial difficulties.

Strive believes SATS will attract income-focused investors while providing the company with additional capital to buy more Bitcoin and increase its Bitcoin exposure. The company also expects the new product to strengthen SATA’s position by adding another layer of capital beneath it, improving the assets available to support SATA holders.

Why is Saylor supporting Cole?

Remarking on the same, Matt Cole, Chairman and CEO of Strive, said,

Looking at the capital structure for Strive, if the IPO of SATS is successful, what you’ll notice is that SATA remains the most senior instrument in our capital structure.

Appraising this step, Strategy’s founder Michael Saylor added,

Strive is turning demand for digital equity ($ASST) and digital credit ($SATA) into demand for Bitcoin. Its hypergrowth shows how the capital markets are accelerating Bitcoin adoption.

Is Strive following Strategy’s footsteps?

If looked at carefully, the way Strive is planning out its Bitcoin accumulation strategy looks very similar to Saylor’s Strategy. Needless to say, being the largest Bitcoin DAT with 848,250 BTC in its stack, Strategy has been an inspiration to many firms, and Strive is no exception.

That said, Strive has so far made 36 purchases since the 3rd of September, 2025, suggesting confidence in Bitcoin despite the price drop from around $124,500 to $83,368.64 at press time. Meanwhile, the stock price of Strive was trading at $27.59 at the time of reporting after a drop of 0.12% in the past trading session but a hike of 82.92% in the year so far.

Strive stands up for crypto DATs

This came on the heels of Strive opposing MSCI’s proposal to exclude crypto treasury firms from its global indexes, arguing that companies offering Bitcoin-backed financial products should qualify as operating businesses.

According to AMBCrypto’s previous report, Strive argued that firms such as Strategy and itself actively manage Bitcoin reserves to issue financial products with different risk, yield, and liquidity profiles, making them more than just a passive asset holders.

Final Summary

  • Strive’s total BTC holding has reached 32,773 BTC, worth approximately $2.697 billion.
  • Strive’s stock price was trading at $27.59 after a drop of 0.12% in the past trading session.
